01 – Background
In support of Capital One’s internal communications team, I helped translate a refreshed brand system into clear, engaging internal-facing assets. Working in close partnership with the in-house design team, I implement the updated standards in tandem with the internal team — applying them in real time across active programs and initiatives.
02 — Lead the Way Program

Lead the Way is an employee recognition initiative designed to celebrate leadership, growth, and forward momentum across teams. Using Capital One’s newly launched brand system as a foundation, we developed a visual direction that incorporated travel-inspired motifs — including custom passport stamp graphics — to reinforce the idea of progress and shared journey.
The system was built to scale seamlessly across digital communications, print collateral, and branded merchandise, creating a cohesive and energizing experience for employees at every touchpoint.
03 — Brand System Implementation

This project marked one of the first internal applications of Capital One’s expanded brand guidelines. The updated system introduced more robust rules, a refined illustration library, and clearer hierarchy structures — requiring thoughtful interpretation and disciplined execution.
By embracing the new constraints, we were able to create assets that felt distinctly Capital One while still dynamic and program-specific. The result was a strong, unified brand presence that helped accelerate internal adoption of the refreshed identity.
04 — People Leader Summit Concept Explorations
In parallel, we explored creative concepts for the annual People Leader Summit, leveraging illustrations from the newly released brand library. The visual direction centered on themes of upward movement, perspective, and forward motion — reinforcing the company’s focus on growth and looking ahead.
The work balanced brand fidelity with conceptual storytelling, ensuring the summit materials felt elevated, intentional, and aligned with the broader evolution of the Capital One identity.
